Always One, but Born as Two

While Star Wars has always been a Jedi-focused series, The Acolyte provides a different outlook. Embracing emotions and feelings showcases that it’s not always a bad thing, as well as the hypocrisy and wrongdoings of the Jedi. As the series continues, viewers feel a sense of empathy for what we know to be the bad guys in the Sith. Whether fans agree with this series or not, The Acolyte is a staple within the galaxy far, far away.

Season 2?

With the series coming to a close, some fans are looking for a renewal. While no plans have been made for a second season, much discussion has taken place. The Acolyte leaves some things open and unanswered enough to be renewed but finished off strong in a way that viewers feel fulfilled in the story they connected with. Cameos such as Darth Plagueis and Yoda make for great setups to what fans know of the history of Star Wars. Whether the series gets renewed or not is a mystery, but all fans can do is hope that Lucasfilm listens to the fan reception and not the critics and reviews.
